Dr. Pradeep received his Ph.D. in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore on "Material removal mechanism in Abrasive Machining Process" in 2014. After finishing his Ph.D. he worked in Oil&Gas industry and joined AMTDC as a Senior Project officer in 2016 and completed in 2020. His research interests are Abrasive process mechanics, Smart Manufacturing, Process monitoring & optimization and Industry 4.0.

Dr. Sarmistha Bakshi
Technical Consultant

A graduate of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (ME & PhD, Materials Engineering), Dr. Sarmistha Bakshi pursued her postdoctoral research in the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. She served as an Asst. Prof. in SSN College of Engineering and, thereafter, as a visiting faculty in Anna University for a couple of years, before joining AMTDC. Her research interests include Functionally Graded Materials, graded metal-ceramic-composites, nano-polishing, shape memory effect, etc.

Mr. Ramanan completed his Automobile Engineering and following that he worked as a Research Associate in IIT-Delhi and IIT-Madras prior to joining AMTDC in 2016. He is currently working on the design and development of Hydrostatic Systems for machine tools.
